Overview
Ares’ House is a 120 sq.m home with tiled floors and a large open-concept living area with a vaulted ceiling. It has three comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully-equiped kitchen, laundry facilities, air-conditioning and central heating in every room. The house is equipped for entertaining large parties, spending time on the beach (beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs are available) and entertaining young kids (toys, large yard, and neighbouring kids–all available for playing). You can buy fresh local produce and fish in the weekly farmer’s market (every Friday), cook them in the BBQ and enjoy them either on the large porch or under the tree in the yard. Ares’ House is ideal if you want to exprience greek life off the beaten path–in a picturesque neighbourhood where houses are separated only by a narrow lane, neighbours will stop by, and kids may ask to play with your kids. Zevgolatio is an agricultural town with approx. 5,000 people, tavernas, coffeeshops, and a open-air farmer’s market every week–all within a short walk of Ares’ House. The beach is an approximate 7 minutes drive away. If you get tired of enjoying the beach you can take day-trips to exciting places such as The Delphi, the ancient theatre of Epidauros, the Acrokorinthos in the town of ancient Korinth, Picturesque town of Nafplio, the islands of Poros, Spetses, and Hydra, the mountains of Feneos, and of course, Athens
